1. Data and purposes

Travel inquiries include your name, email, city, optional date, group size, language and preferences, used to review and answer your inquiry. Do not include passport, payment or medical details. Orders and journal support involve the payment number, amount, date, status and any correspondence. The payment provider processes the receipt email; full card details are not disclosed to the publisher.

2. Grounds and consent

Inquiries are processed on the basis of the separate consent in the form; order data is processed to enter into and perform the contract and meet mandatory record-keeping duties. Inquiry consent does not include marketing consent. Contact details are shared with a guide only after separate agreement with you.

3. Storage and access

Inquiries are stored in the project’s private database, accessible to the owner and technical administrator. Inquiries older than 90 days are deleted at the next database processing. Encrypted backups are used for recovery; copies older than 7 days are removed at the next backup or maintenance operation. Payment records are retained as needed for orders, refunds and mandatory record keeping. Data is not sold. Hosting and payment services process data needed for their functions; legally required disclosures to authorities may occur.

4. Cookies and external services

The browser stores appearance and animation preferences. The server processes technical request data to deliver pages and prevent abuse. External map, search and booking widgets receive search parameters and technical data when loaded, under their own privacy policies. External links lead to websites operated by separate data controllers.

5. Your rights

To access, correct, restrict or delete your data, or withdraw consent, email privet@russia.direct. Identify the inquiry or order without sending unnecessary documents. Withdrawing consent ends inquiry processing except where processing is legally required. The controller responds within the statutory period and explains deletion or any mandatory retention grounds.
