In Sverdlovsk Region, 150 geography teachers attended the Russian Geographical Society’s third national meeting. They explored landscapes in Bazhov Places Nature Park, worked with maps and visited industrial sites in the Middle Urals.

Participants then developed excursions and school lessons from their observations, and designed projects in cross-regional groups. The programme ended on 8 October; the RGS report published on 16 October describes its results.
