The National Art Museum of the Sakha Republic has presented K-ART: Decorative Meditations. In its 27 October report, the museum confirmed that the opening ceremony took place the previous day. The project was created with Seoul’s Insa Art Plaza gallery; the institutions also signed a cooperation agreement.
The exhibition brings together painting and graphic art, from reinterpretations of folk imagery and floral compositions to ink landscapes and abstraction. Works include Waiting by Lee Su-jin and Rainy Street by Jung Mi-ae. Its sections offer a way to compare different artistic approaches.
Public visits run from 28 October to 29 November on the museum’s second floor at 9 Kirov Street. Wednesday hours are noon–8 p.m.; Thursday–Sunday hours are 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Check admission arrangements and guided visits with the museum.
