Questions for a consulate, university or prospective employer.
Start with your nationality and purpose of travel. Entry, study, employment and long-term residence have different conditions. A tourist visit does not by itself establish a right to work or settle.
Use the Russian Foreign Ministry’s official service to check the applicable route. For study, ask your university about its invitation, registration and post-arrival document process.
Confirm permitted stay, registration responsibilities, work or study permission and insurance before making irreversible bookings. Also check payment access, return travel and your home country’s official advice.
