Flexible electronics: memristors survive repeated bending

According to the Russian Science Foundation, researchers made flexible memristors from parylene with molybdenum oxide nanoparticles. Samples endured over a thousand switching cycles and a hundred bending cycles.

These components can store and process signals. Approximately 90% movement-recognition accuracy came from a simulated network using measured device characteristics. This is research, not a finished wristband: an autonomous wearable system remains to be developed.
