An RSF report on 22 September described a reinforced proton-conducting membrane developed by researchers at IGIC RAS, HSE and Tomsk Polytechnic.
The reported strength increased 1.8-fold while conductivity was maintained. Extended cyclic tests under real fuel-cell load are the next stated step.
This is a laboratory result, not a verified operating lifetime for a finished power system.
