MY-GEO geography olympiad begins in Sirius

The international youth geography olympiad MY-GEO has begun in Sirius. The Russian Geographical Society reported on 26 October that its 25–31 October programme includes theoretical, practical and multimedia rounds. The society and the Talent and Success Foundation are the organisers.

Rosa Khutor will be the main venue. Students will investigate the area and propose adaptations to environmental and climate change, considering terrain, transport, tourism flows and ecosystems. The competition is still underway; results are yet to come.
